Recruitment

Life as an Alpha

During your years as a collegiate member of APS, you can expect to experience sisterhood in nearly everything you do. You and your sisters will learn together, study together, and professionally develop together. As a new member, you will learn about the responsibilities of member and our emphasis on academic excellence, service, leadership and commitment.

After your initiation, you will have the opportunity to hold leadership positions in our chapter, either as a member or in Executive Board or the various councils. APS members are also encouraged to participate in campus activities as well to use their skills for leadership and development towards their fellow students. Beta chapter is an active member of Cal Poly Pomona's NALFO council that works to strengthen the Greek system on campus.

Beta Chapter schedules events and activities including fund raising, local service and philanthropy projects, intramural, social events with other campus organizations, Greek Week, Homecoming, leadership seminars and events with alumnae members.

Though your college experience may be based on the completion of your degree, APS membership lasts a lifetime. Sisterhood doesn't end when you graduate. As an alumnae member of APS, you can join our national governing body, a local alumnae chapter and continue to give back to your respective chapter with needed support and advisement.

Life and work as a ALPHA provides continuous opportunities to academically excel and professionally develop so that we can give back to the community. We hope you'll navigate through our website to learn more about Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority Inc.
